The event took place at West Valley High School and was attended by elementary special education students from across the district. • 3:42 HUSD Safety Update with Dr. Barrett - Evolv Scanners

  Starting on December 5, 2022 we have started installing Evolv Security Scanners at our Middle School and High School locations at Hemet Unified. Installation at all middle and high schools will be completed within a few months of 2023.
  
  The Evolv scanners identify specific areas of concern; they do not require a full search of students or staff. Students and staff will enter their school at a normal pace; the quick scanning process helps students avoid feelings of discomfort. Maintaining social and emotional health is a high priority while implementing these new safety measures.

• 2:36 Hemet Unified Art Palazzo - Tahquitz High School

  On Friday, March 17, 2023, Tahquitz High School hosted their first annual Art Palazzo, where students and staff from Hemet, Tahquitz, West Valley, and San Jacinto High Schools as well as local organizations showcased their different art programs and highlighted local community businesses and opportunities. The Palazzo also featured the Tahquitz High Mud Club’s Empty Bowls Event, a small part of a larger effort to raise money for food resources for those in need.
