Background
Mr. Prado was raised in the San Gabriel Valley and moved to Hemet in 2008. He and his wife, Melissa, have seven children with two currently in a CA K-12 school. Kenneth and Melissa are active in their local Calvary Chapel Church. Kenneth graduated from Mt. San Jacinto College in 2012 and used his education as an Alcohol/Drug counselor and Clinical Supervisor for the past 10-plus years as a CADC-II Certified Counselor. While in college at Mt. San Jacinto, Kenneth was an active Senator with the Student Government Association and assisted in bringing forth the installation of new bus shelters on the San Jacinto campus. In 2010, Kenneth was the founder and President of the “a 2nd Chance” club which assisted at-risk students on their collegiate paths. Kenneth has worked and volunteered at My City Youth Center in Hemet to empower the youth and those with disabilities of Hemet. 

Mr. Prado has continued to use his years of advocacy at the local and state level to bring awareness to the city and school district of Hemet. An example of his dedication to the community was when he worked with other members of the board thru a sub-committee to update school board policy regarding Library Media Centers.

Mr. Prado has also been an advocate at the local, state, and national level with his dedication and hard work with Lexit, the largest Hispanic/Latino conservative group in America, as an advisor and ambassador.

Mr. Prado continues to move forward with improving policies and advocating for the students and the parents of those students within the district.
