Governing Board Award

Hemet, March 4, 2025: The Governing Board of the Hemet Unified School District, on nomination by Trustee
Stacey Bailey, has selected Mr. Christopher “Chris” Frost, ASB Assistant at West Valley High School, as the
March 2025 recipient of the Governing Board Recognition and Award.

West Valley High School is proud to have one of its own recognized tonight. Chris Frost, our dedicated
Student Body Activities Assistant, for his outstanding service over the past several years. Chris's unwavering
commitment has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant and inclusive school environment.

In his role, Chris meticulously plans and supports sporting events across all our major sports, ensuring each
event runs smoothly and our athletes feel celebrated. Beyond athletics, he is deeply involved in organizing
school assemblies and is a cornerstone of our Associated Student Body (ASB) program. His enthusiasm
and organizational skills have enriched countless student activities, making them both memorable and
impactful.

Chris's dedication extends to our staff as well. As a pivotal member of our staff club, he orchestrates a variety
of events throughout the year, such as the annual bake-off, a festive Christmas ornament exchange, and an
end-of-year party. These gatherings strengthen our sense of community and camaraderie, making West
Valley not just a school but a family.

We are honored to celebrate Chris Frost tonight for his exceptional contributions and steadfast commitment
to the success of West Valley High School. Thank you, Chris, for making our school a great place to be a
Mustang!

For outstanding performance, professionalism and loyalty to the Hemet Unified School District, Trustee
Stacey Bailey presented Mr. Chris Frost with the Governing Board Recognition of Excellence Award and a
$500 certificate to be used toward the District program of his choice.
