Dartmouth Knights want to recognize Mr. Geoff Satterfield as our Employee of Excellence! Mr. Satterfield is an amazing 7th and 8th grade science teacher and the Department Chair for Science at Dartmouth. We are lucky to have him serve in our Order of Knights! He doesn’t like a lot of attention and would much rather be a “behind the scenes” kind of guy, but we appreciate how he works tirelessly to support the students, teachers, and staff at Dartmouth. He is always looking for ways to grow professionally and move all students to success.
He brought PDSA cycles to his class, and beyond, to gather student input and foster a connection between explicit teacher/student actions and learning advancement. Need help with 5 Star? He is our personal site tech! He is currently building connections across departments by supporting the ELA department by using the RACE writing strategies in the Science department. This ensures that students build confidence in their skills from class to class.
