Tonya Morris is an Intensive Behavioral Instructional Aide who serves Bautista Creek’s students who are enrolled in the mod/severe autism program. Tonya is passionate about her job and comes to work every day with a smile on her face. She interacts with her students with patience and care. She is a leader among her colleagues and they seek her out for information and advice. She is well respected by all the teaching staff at Bautista. Tonya goes above and beyond her job description and truly embodies HUSD’s vision of “providing equitable educational outcomes for all students, including and especially those who have been kept furthest from opportunity.”
