West Valley is proud to nominate Travis Armstrong as our Employee of Excellence. Mr. Armstrong is a Biology teacher and our Science Department Chair. He works tirelessly to support students and his colleagues, leading his department toward positive outcomes. Mr. Armstrong is full of energy and enthusiasm which engages his students and builds relationships with his peers. As a Master Challenge Navigator, Mr. Armstrong creatively supports his colleagues with creative solutions to challenges and evokes new ideas from his department in order to increase student engagement and learning. He ensures that all students have access to the curriculum and learning intentions by using inclusive instructional strategies, engaging lesson planning, and creative opportunities for further success and learning.
