Hemet, February 13, 2024: The Governing Board of the Hemet Unified School District, on nomination by Trustee Kenneth Prado, has selected Ms. Tami Engel, Teacher at Bautista Elementary School, as the February 2024 recipient of the Governing Board Recognition and Award.
Mrs. Engel is an extremely dedicated ATS teacher. She has established great rapport with all the students at Bautista Creek. She walks students through the process of restoring relationships when they have made poor choices with kindness and respect. She goes above and beyond her job duties and is always willing to help in any way needed. We are thrilled to recognize and show our appreciation for her dedication to the students and community at Bautista Creek Elementary School.
For outstanding performance, professionalism and loyalty to the Hemet Unified School District, Trustee Kenneth Prado presented Ms. Tami Engel with the Governing Board Recognition of Excellence Award and a $500 certificate to be used toward the District program of her choice.
