Dear Hamilton and Idyllwild Families,
As our weather conditions continue to progress, out of an abundance of caution for safety, school will be canceled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 2. Due to the snow from today combined with the freezing temperature predicted for tomorrow, we are expecting unsafe icy conditions on our roadways.
We understand that school closures can cause significant disruptions for families and we want to assure you that this decision is not made lightly. We carefully consider all factors, including weather forecasts, road conditions, and advice from local authorities and transportation officials.
We appreciate your understanding and support in making sure that our school community stays safe in the midst of dangerous weather activity. Although we expect to return to school on Friday, March 3, given the unpredictable nature of weather patterns, we will continue to process information in real-time by monitoring the situation closely and providing updates as necessary to keep you informed.
