At the January 31st Board Meeting, the Governing Board of the Hemet Unified School District, on nomination by Trustee Horacio Valenzuela, selected Mr. Ahmed El Sayad, Teacher at West Valley High School, as the January recipient of the Governing Board Recognition and Award.
It is an honor to recognize Mr. El Sayad as the recipient of this month’s Governing Board Award. Mr. El is an outstanding educator at West Valley High School and embodies the core values of Hemet Unified School District. He goes above and beyond in service of all West Valley Mustangs to provide high quality teaching and create a rich learning environment for all students. In addition to his other roles on campus, Mr. El serves as the IB Coordinator at West Valley, and has worked tirelessly to build a robust and equitable program that will serve our Mustangs throughout their college, career, and life. It is a pleasure to work with Mr. El everyday, and wonderful to see his hard work and professionalism recognized by our Governing Board.
For outstanding performance, professionalism and loyalty to the Hemet Unified School District, Trustee Horacio Valenzuela presented Mr. Ahmed El Sayad with the Governing Board Recognition of Excellence Award and a $500 certificate to be used toward the District program of his choice.
