Misty Todd, Little Lake’s Literacy Specialist, is this week’s HUSD Staff Spotlight. Misty collaborates closely with instructional staff to provide the premiere instruction to students. Recently, she put many hours into working with staff to revise and coordinate all site schedules to ensure the greatest benefits for students. This has had many positive effects for our Little Lake Lions and the staff supporting them.
Furthermore, Misty has provided many professional development trainings on teaching Foundational Skills with research-based strategies. Misty has also created Morning Meeting slides for the entire site that has been helpful in the community building that occurs in classrooms each morning. In everything Misty does, she shows a laser tight focus on ensuring ALL students learn at high levels and are successful.
For all these reasons and more, Misty has been selected for this week’s Staff Spotlight.
