The Faculty Focus Friday for alternative sites this week goes to SAFE Site Facilitators Teresa Haeckel, Judy Sullivan, and Monse Wilkinson and Classroom Activity Specialists Joi Lee, Britney Linares, and Christine Salazar. They all work at HUSD’s SAFE and ZONE Expanded Learning Program for the 3:00-5:00 pm Tutoring Group. This group has been responsible for running a virtual tutoring program for students this academic year. The group members have all done an exceptional job of providing academic and social-emotional learning opportunities for students. They have provided virtual field trips and other exciting opportunities for students to take advantage of. These ladies are team players and are always willing to support other tutoring groups with coverage or technical support, and are always able to identify and implement resources to benefit our students. They keep virtual tutoring fun! Congratulations to this amazing team!
